The Design Team Leader
Warrington Borough Council

Dear Chief Executive.

Normally, it is at the completion of a project or event that one may expect the flinging of bouquets or brickbats, so I am sure you will be doubly pleased at the contents of this letter.

My address will point up the fact that KBCs project to install new automatic pedestrian crossing facilities on my doorstep, is only one month into its projected four month programme, and yet, it is my pleasure to report how impressed by the efficiency of King Construction.

Further to this, and very important to us, the kindness being shown to all by the workmen helping us to cross this busy junction in safety and with the least inconvenience.

Mr Charles Tyrrell
Knowsley Borough Council

I just wanted to highlight the work being completed at Cherryfield on our new travel plan car park and related pedestrian pathways.

The work has been completed by King Construction. They have worked closely with the school and completed work of high quality and at a great pace. They have also been unobtrusive and treated the premises with respect.

This contrasts with other recent experiences we have had with less successful contractors.

Mr. Steve Dixon, Headteacher
Cherryfield School, Kirkby

This contractor regularly receives letters of commendation from the public regarding the quality of work carried out and the customer care delivered.

Mr. Keith Pennington, Head of Engineering
Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council

I have had a number of people speak to me praising the footway reconstruction works being carried out by King Construction in Malvern Avenue. They have made particular reference to the helpful attitude of the workforce quoting incidents where workmen have stopped what they were doing to assist a mother with a pram for instance.

To my knowledge Knowsley has not received a single complaint regarding this scheme which is a testament to the professional and courteous attitude shown by the workforce on site.

Mr. Steve Taylor, Team Leader, Highways Inspection Unit
Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council
